That would be me, of course... Why would I mention it otherwise?

I had a few days off at the beginning of this week which is presently ending. The weather was great in Vancouver (BC), I went to shot a few pictures and took long walks. But as no one suspects, I am in Vancouver NOT for leisure but for WRITING MY DAMN MASTER THESIS! Well, it isn't THAT damned, but it's a nice expression, considering I am stuck inside a hotel room while people are partying until midnight (firefighters and ambulance crews as well...). Somehow I had just realized recently some drunkard outside and linked them to Fridays parties!

For what it's worth, the writing is doing good, not great nor bad, just good. I am two weeks ahead of the schedule I had set during summer, but it's something I can handle. I already have written a chapter (out of three) and the introduction, the longest and lousiest chapter one has to write, is more than half-done.

My new EF 70-200mm F/4 IS USM L-series Canon lens is the invention of the XIXth century, really! It is doing such a great job under every circumstances, and it resists well the rainy Vancouver weather. I'm so happy I saved a little over 200 CAD for it!

But no, the pictures I took with it during its first test weren't good enough for me to upload them on deviantART.
