Almost a year between today and my last blog post. I did not visit deviantART for a long while due to my busy schedule, but also because I got bored visiting the site.
And today, enjoying a 4-days vacation and waiting for 224 Gb of pictures to be transfered on my external hard drive, I thought I might come back and take a look at how things have changed on old dA.
First, almost all pictures I've posted in the past years suck.
Second, my premium membership is expiring soon. Good thing, because I don't take advantage of it.
Third, it's about time I get some cleaning done.
Which brings me to the question: should I just delete my deviantART

On July 9th late evening, a few minutes before midnight, I sent my internship report. 2 weeks later, I've received my grade, the last after 8 years of university studies! As Alice Cooper sings: school's out forever! (Funily, I've seen Alice Cooper supporting Iron Maiden on July 11th, and he sang School's Out ;) ).
So no more studies. I'm done. It's mean I have to find a job too...
Oh well, as long as I get to draw once again (had no time last year), and still take thousands of pictures ;)

I've been quite busy recently. A bit too much, probably. Being a full-time student + a part-time photojournalist + a very appreciate maths and physics tutor = very little time for myself. I almost snapped after a dense week journalism traineeship. Now my schedule is a little looser, so I have a little more time to invest in dA, for example.
I really hate backlighting and strobs in concerts. Yesterday was a nightmare during Messhugah's performance at the Olympia (Montreal, not Paris). Worse, the media info from the promoter was completely wrong, and I had to rush to the photopit just to get 8 good pictures in 3-4 minutes. At least I know have
